Somebody always argues
about the score.

Backyard Comp keeps score, runs the bracket, settles the disputes and cuts the highlight reel โ€” so you can actually play.

Three ways in

Do it yourself, or let us handle it.

Same competition engine behind all three โ€” the difference is how much of the weekend you want to spend organising instead of competing.

Do it yourself

The app

Everything you need to run a proper competition in your own back yard. Open it, share the link, start playing.

  • Live scores and standings
  • Brackets, rounds and round robins
  • Photo and video feed
  • 22 games ready to go

Done for you

We run it

We turn up with the kit, set the whole thing up, referee every round and keep it moving. You host; we handle the competition.

  • Games, kit and setup included
  • A referee who is not your brother-in-law
  • Scores and bracket run live on the app
  • Highlight reel afterwards

Come to us

Bar events

We run competition nights at bars for people who take winning unreasonably seriously. Turn up alone or bring a team.

  • Open competition nights
  • Teams drawn or bring your own
  • Live standings on every phone
  • Venues: ask us about hosting one

Inside the app

Everything a competition needs, on everyone's phone.

One link. Everyone opens it, picks their team, and it stays in sync all weekend.

๐Ÿ†

Scores and standings

Points go in as they happen and the table reorders itself. No spreadsheet, no whiteboard, no arguments about who is actually winning.

๐Ÿ“‹

Schedule and formats

Brackets, rounds and round robins, drawn properly. Pick a format and the app works out who plays who, and when.

๐Ÿ“ธ

Feed with photos and video

Everyone posts from their phone as it happens. Reactions, callouts and the running commentary that makes it worth remembering.

๐ŸŽฌ

Highlight reel

The weekend cut together at the end โ€” scores, photos and the best moments, exportable as a video to send round the group chat.

โš–๏ธ

Settle it

Five ways to end an argument or decide who goes first โ€” a coin, a weighted wheel, a reaction duel, Odds Are and hidden rock-paper-scissors. Every result is sealed before anyone plays, and any phone can check the seal.

๐ŸŽฏ

A game library that remembers

22 games to start โ€” cornhole, beer pong, flip cup, kan jam, spikeball and more, each with real rules and the right format already set. Add your own; it tracks who has won what, year after year.

How people get in

Three codes, no accounts.

Nobody signs up, nobody makes a password, nobody installs anything. You hand out codes and people are in.

OrganizerThe PIN
Everything: create events, set up teams, enter scores, remove anything anyone posts.
PlayerTheir team code
Picks their name, then posts, reacts, votes and calls out other teams. Team codes are only ever visible to the organizer.
SpectatorThe games code
Reads everything โ€” scores, schedule, feed. Cannot post, react or vote.
